I was referred to 3 other reputable body shops prior to meeting JR. I decided to take a leap of fate and check out the shop. First thing I noticed was how clean/organized the shop was and how down to earth JR and his staff was. They took their time to explain to me exactly what was going to be done to my car. I'm very peculiar of my "Lexi" and JR said "We are very picky", which I loved. Their facebook had an extensive portfolio on classic cars they worked on and so I decided I would let JR take my car into the surgeon room. I was getting my bottom rocker repaired and a new bumper repainted. Not only did they do an amazing job in repainting, blending and clear coating my bottom rocker, they also made sure my pinch welds were aligned and repainted (a part that couldn't be seen to the eye). The bumper had no orange peel and was painted with a mixture of metallic flakes to match the factory look. JR's shop was an amazing experience and the job was done in a timely manner. As an added bonus, they cleaned my car from the inside out upon pick up. Lovely service. You can't put a price on a peace of mind and JR's shop is the epitome of quality over quantity.
A friend recommended this shop to me after an unfortunate accident that all but destroyed the front end of my car. I had never had an accident of this scale that didn't "total" the car, and had no experience dealing with an insurance agent to get things rolling. The owner of J R's (J R himself) took the time to tell me step by step EVERYTHING that I needed to do and did most of the communications/contacting agencies himself. The work they did in replacing the front body and door of my car was flawless. More than one person commented that my car looked better after their repairs than it did when I brought it home off the car lot! If you need body work, on any scale, contact these guys! It's worth the trip to Marmet.
